Do a compression test, it might be out of time. If timing is ok, spray some quickbstart in the throttle body and see if it runs for a bit, if it does then u know it's not the timing or spark issue, check fuel pressure.

If the valve timing is the problem all the cylinders will test very low or zero on the compression test. Hope that helps! Jim

as a reference point what should the compression be on each cylinder or close to?

100 to 140 psi dependibg on the engine size but u want to look for even pressure on all cylinders. If 1 reads 100, they all should read 100psi plus or minus 10 lbs

ok not sure if this is accurate but i read its ok if cylinder 1 is lower than the rest?? dont sound right to me.

No, they all should read the same, only about 5 to 10 psi difference between each cylinder

There all at 130-140 psi.I'm about to Just Burn This car Down ! (not really) here is what its doing

Those compression readings are ok. Will it run on the starting fluid, as suggested above? If so, it's a fuel problem. If not check for spark. Keep in mind you only need 3 things for it to run. Spark, fuel, and compression. You have compression so you're either missing spark or fuel! Hope that helps! Jim

got good fuel at the rail and spark... I'll maybe chane plug wires

Don't replace stuff without checking, it will get ecoensive and still not fix the problem. Check the spark at the plugs and make sure the spark is on time, the distributor spark might be off.

This vehicle doesn't have a distributor. Did you check the crankshaft position sensor? They're troublesome on these vehicles and if it's not working the computer won't know the engine is cranking or running so it will stop delivering fuel to the engine. Hope that helps! Jim
