2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, no power and sounds like a misfire

Asked by Guru95ZQX Jun 08, 2017 at 10:15 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: General

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, so I was driving and when my
car shifted into 3rd it started to studder and had no
power? So I pulled over and checked the coil pack and
had no spark to the top two. So I replaced it and started it
up and still studder and sounded like a misfire. I am
wondering why is doing that, if it's a fuel filter or
something to do with the fuel. I don't know much about
cars. So anything will help thanks!

Scan it for trouble codes before spending money on parts. That will give you better direction than just guessing.
