That light comes on on lots of older cars don't hurt a thing as long as you know you changed your oil,

That is not very good advice. The light comes on to let you know the vehicle is not running like its supposed to. It could be something simple or a problem that needs to be addressed ASAP. Get it looked at before it becomes a much bigger problem.

Its not that big a deal, lots of car have that light on, when most cars get over 200000 the light will Come on and stay on, only PPl that don't know anything ab cars will run to autozone and get it hooked up. Btw that's the worst place to go

The lights don't come on for no reason after 200,000 miles. Sure lights can come on and not effect the car much, but there is a reason why they're on. Some are very minor such as emissions (02, EVAP ect) but without scanning the code(s) you won't know how bad the problem(s) is (transmission, maf, map, crank, cam sensors, thermostat ect). There is absolutely nothing wrong with going to Autozone to have a code scanned for free. Do you think their scan tools are not able to read codes? Its an easy way to find out if the light is something minor or something that needs to be taken care of before it gets really bad and costly.
