Main culprit for the light to come on is your speed sensors. Inspect the speed sensors located on each hub for broken or frayed wiring. ABS system looks at the speed sensors for the system to operate and determine which wheel is turning and which one is not. Traction control works on the same principle but reverse. If the sensors are malfunctioning or if the system doesn't see them, the light will come on.
