Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my grand prix wont start  I tried the security lockout reset of 15 min but still same thing. I
took the steering colume apart and I noticed there is a white plastic thing with a push in
button on each end this looks like it is backed out of the hole it fits into, I tried to push it
back in there but it wont go,  is it supposed to be up in the slot ip in the colume

As JS08016 said ,make sure battery is good and and cables to it are clean and tight,if they are good, and you still hear clicking, may be a bad starter.
