How do you enter a new theft deterrent code?

Asked by rons Apr 24, 2008 at 09:27 AM about the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday I had a LOC code on my radio. I bought the car used and did not have the code. I took it to a dealer and had it reset but they couldn't tell me how to put in a new code so I wouldn't have to take it to them and get gouged again. Can you tell me how?
