Headlights

Asked by BeckahSewell Mar 05, 2016 at 09:11 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My headlights work when they want to-only during the day
usually. I noticed it one night driving home from work. I
messed around with my dashboard and found a piece I
could take out by the panel to turn the lights on and off.
When I wiggle the wires the lights turn on and off. Not sure
if it's a fuse or what's going on. Any ideas?? (I know nothing
about cars or the terminology haha)

There's a recall for it, it's the headlamp relay. There is no permanent fix for it yet but take it into a GM dealership and they'll put in a new relay for you.
