Yeah it's easy. About a 3 hour job. Go to YouTube and watch a video. See if it's something that you want to do.

Easy job. One hose, 2 clamps. I am assuming it is the upper (return) hose from the engine block to the radiator since you said it was leaking steam (smoke). Go to your local parts store and get a new hose then, with the engine cold, remove the old hose by losening the clamps on the bad one and removing it from the car. If it has been on a while, you may need to cut it off with a knife. Once off, push the new hose onto the car and retighten the clamps. You will have lost some coolant but only the amount that was in the hose you removed. Start the car and bring it up to temp. Then add enough coolant to bring the reservoir up to the full line. Use a mixture of 50% water / 50% antifreeze. If I am wrong, and it is your lower hose (feeder hose from the radiator to the block) it is a little more complicated because you will loose most of your coolant if you pull off the hose without first draining the system. If it is the lower hose, you may be best to search YouTube as BoholMark suggested. Good luck.
