Overheating 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix?

I replaced elbows, thermostat, when
problem first started i heard a pop in
da hood i open it to find coolant
everywhere up to car started smoking
and begin to overheat since ive
replaced the thermostat and elbows
now i notice smoke out of the
tailpipes and leakage from the
mufflers car starts and drives but
soon overheats PLEASE HELP is it the
water pump? Intake manifold? And
please dont say blowb head gasket?

there is pressure in the water system, blown head gasket
So check the pressure first? Any case its the water pump?
Or intake manifold everything is pointing at head gasket SUCCS!!!

Sorry to say also sounds like a head gasket but there is something you can try with no promises and at this point it is worth a try. Bars cooling system stop leak. If it does not work first time do not continue to add more hoping it will work that is when you can clog up the cooling system.
Actually 2 applications of Bars Leak is fine. I needed a second one to seal up the leaks in my '03 GP. If your gaskets are not leaking too badly that may well work and save you a ton of money. I solved my coolant loss problem with Bars Leak 5 years ago and so far have not had to change the gaskets.
