No. Fix the problem it is likely to be a wheel sensor. fairly cheap repair. Of course you could remove the bulb but that is not a good idea since you or the next owner will forget the problem still exists and your ABS system is something you want functioning.
Actually the car will operate just fine without the ABS. You simply won't have ABS. You may or may not notice its not there depending on how you drive the car and what road conditions are like. Remember we drove without ABS the first 75 years of having cars. Not saying ABS isn't an improvement or a good thing, but its not particularly dangerous to be without it if you're a careful driver.
Agree but this writer wants the light to go out. Best way to do that is have the ABS working again. Sensors are not very expensive.
