will an engine out of a 1995 pontiac bonneville 3800 v6 work in my 2004 grand prix gt2 also a 3800 v6?

No....because then you'll have an impossible to explain at the parts counter exactly which replacement parts are available....that's to say if it's a success, the thing will be a "frankencar"~....don't do it~ would be my advise~

95 is series 2, 04 is series 3, = none compatible unless u change entire engine bay and components ie electronics and hard parts (trans , motor, half shafts etc etc
