Brake problem

Maybe you left something loose, did you rotate your tires while at it? Did you go back through after a few miles and retorque the bolts in a star pattern? Did you set the brakes afterwords?

Tires were rotated a few days later by a shop besides having an impact at home so I know they were tight. What do you mean by "set the brakes"?

Brakes are made of glued together bjts. When you put new brakes on, you need to go out and drive about 45 and press somewhat hard on the brakes, do this a few times to get them hot so it bakes the glue and sets them this may or may not be your issue. I doubt this would cause any issues whilst the foot is off the brake.

Sounds like the rotor machining was not right on at least one wheel. What you are feeling is an uneven or warped rotor.

I did consider taking them back to the shop that did them. Since a machine does it, I didn't figure they could be done incorrectly but I suppose anything is possible.

Turning Rotors is a waste of Money and Time. I have never had luck with turned rotors to the point of getting Dash Clearing shaking under braking. What does cost to Turn a Rotor? I had my 2007 GMC Yukon Denali brakes changed. I did not know the rotors had been turned instead of replaced. The first time I applied the brakes the vehicle shook viciously. I took it back and told them to replace the rotors. I then had the same response I had the day I took possession of the new 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. At Autozone new rotors cost about $55.00 and with many vendors offering rotors from $15.00 to $25.00. It is not worth the cost to see if you got away and saved a few dollars with turning rotors.
