Brake system failing?

Asked by Kali Jun 27, 2022 at 10:47 AM about the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’ve been getting a winding and a little grinding
noise on the brakes when coming to a slow stop or
slowing down while turning. Took it to the mechanic
4 days ago and he said he drove/looked at it and
everything seemed fine- brake pads, rotors, wheel
bearings. Yesterday both my ABS service light and
traction control lights came on for the drive and are
now off again. There is brake fluid in its reservoir
but does seem pretty full?

Could be a wheel sensor has gone bad, Typical to have both lights ce on since the taction control and ABS lights are related.
