2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Gxp: Engine losses power when accelerating on gas pedal?

Asked by KUSHNORANGE44 Aug 05, 2016 at 11:29 AM about the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This goes out to anyone that can help me please!!:
So basically to start my car needed a (camshaft position sensor) I replaced this sensor thinking this is the reason my car takes a couple tries to start sometimes plus code comes up on diagnostics . I then had my (Magnaflow Universal Converter) added only...It ran fine for at least 24 hours. Afterwards the next day I got in my car and drove, tried accelerate and once car passes 40-45 mph it losses power until you get off gas. Yesterday thinking this was a fuel related problem replaced the (Fuel pump). Also I scanned my car and the camshaft code still comes on after replacement. PLEASE HELP!!
