Where does this wire go?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My battery connectors were changed recently and
today when I popped the hood I noticed this
unattached wire with a plastic snap connector that
is attached to another connector that comes out
under the fuse box. Is the bare wire supposed to be
attached somewhere?

I would take a volt meter and check to see if the wire is live. Turn the ignition on put the red wire of the volt meter on the wire, put the black wire of the volt meter to ground ( car body or the negative battery terminal.) If it is live you will get a reading of 12+ volts. If it is not live u will get 0 volts or a # very close to 0. Where is the negative battery terminal? I believe that it is next to the fuse box. Can u send a pic of the battery and fuse box?
Since the battery terminals were replaced, And without a picture showing the wire, the fuse box and the battery in conjunction with each other it's hard to guess. I want to say it goes to the negative battery terminal, which should be close to the fusebox.
