pontiac grand prix no cold air and no heat but the fan works, whats wrong

It could be the mixer door actuator (a royal PITA to change) or the selector switch vacuum router (not half as bad as the actuator) .. that switch is both vacuum and electric and the hot summer takes it's toll on the O rings
