06 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday I was experiencing some issues with my
car my ABS, traction control,  Air pressure sensor
and the charging system failure of light comes on
and it's only when I hit my Excelerator pedal and
when I hit my brakes they all shut off and it's fine.  I
take it to AutoZone for them to test my battery and
alternator in my alternator is fine but my battery was
getting more voltage than it should.  Also my
headlights get really really warm to the touch when
you turn it on. If anyone could help me that would
be amazing!

I think you have more than one issue here but one of the ideas is that one or more of the batteries in the tire pressure sensor (s) is weak or is dead. The second issue concerning the alternator is that is may be working but it has other components inside such as diodes (electrical parts) that regulate the voltage to the battery so it can charge back up. These diodes in the alternator may have lost resistance to send a proper voltage back to the battery... Good Luck!
