Turn the ignition to "ON", with the engine off. Slowly fully press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. The reset is complete when the chimes sound and the "CHANGE OIL" lamp goes out. If the lamp stays on and no chime is heard, repeat the reset procedure. Turn the key to "OFF". If the "CHANGE OIL" lamp comes back on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure. Hope this helps.

I have a 2005 Grand Prix. If the change oil soon notification appears, press the information (i) button until it says to press enter (↩️). After you press enter it should ding a few times to let you know it has reset, then you should be good to go.
