2006 grand prix won't crank after overheating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our radiator hose was blown and cause the car to
over heat. Now it will turn over but not crank. Spark
plugs were dry and sparking (barely but there is a
spark). It is getting fuel. Compression isn't
consistent. What could it be? Timing chain??
Computer under coils? Or possible timing sensor??
Where do I start?

Check to make sure the bursting hose did not soak your electrical (battery, fuse box, starter, etc) system and has caused a broken circuit by soaking corroded connectors.
