My key will not turn off and on it goes in the ignition and it won't turn?

I put the key in the ignition it will not turn at all it
comes in and out and the dinger goes off but it will
not turn when I parked my car I had no issues with it
never had any problems with it turning over

Have you tried jiggling the steering wheel as you try and turn the key? If that doesn’t work then most likely the lock went bad and will need replaced and the security system reset.

If you have a spare key, try using that one. Maybe the key you use everyday is worn out. You can also try a lubricant in the key hole like Lock Eeze (probably misspelled). It's a dry graphite lubricant made especially for lock cylinders. Hope that helps! Jim
