I have a 2006 pontiac grand prix gxp. I was on my way home and the temperture guage dropped all the way down. Have anyone ever had this problem?

Did the vehicle overheat ? If not just maybe a bad temperature guage sending unit.

Ok then sounds like the temperature sensor just needs to be replaced.

Also may want to check the anti freeze level and make sure it is not low add anti freeze if it is low.
