cause my battery to rapidly drain and die

No. If the battery is draining, it's caused by something either being left on or or alternator not charging properly. Take it to ur local auto parts store and then can check charging system and battery free of charge.Fuses are only to protect and limit the amount of amperage drawn, if it exceeds the fuse rating, the fuse will blow. Using higher amp fuses does not help, they are factory desinged and should not be increased.
