Question type: General

I have a 1991 Corvette.  Are later model valve covers interchangeable with
mine?  I was looking at those large red ones.  Thank you for your consideration.

Aftermarket parts are made to replace original equipment. Most of the time they are made of better quality. Just make sure it is make for your engine and car before buying it. As cars get older and still are on the streets, parts wear out, and since the industry no longer makes these parts, the after market thrives on replacement parts. Look into SEMA Corp. that represents most of the after market manufacturing industry. A multibillion dollar yearly industry.

Thank you John. I've found out that the 1991 I am buying would only take 1991 era valve covers. Those nice big red ones are for newer vintage. Thank you.
