Engine swap

I have an ej251 non turbo sohc in my 02 Impreza and I
blew the engine what would be the easiest swap  if not
direct fit/ swap

Yeah...any 2000-2009 Legacy/OB or 2002-2011 Imp...and a bunch of Foresters for that matter will fit.

Impreza transmissions can't handle wrx power. You'd need a whole new wiring harness, transmission, engine, fuel system, and beyond. Budget you could do the swap for 18k. But that's jumping corners
