Here is a little general info: http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z10190/default.aspx Callaway is the only company that Chevrolet has entrusted an outside company to technologically advance the Corvette. It was only made from 1987 to 1991 in very limited production. It had 130 more horsepower than the regular production unit. Only about 2000-3000 were made each year.

Callaway Corvettes are in high demand and I've seen few with any major issues. They seem to be difficult to find and if you do find one, command stiff prices. I disagree with lightGear that Callaway is the only company that was involved in advancing the Corvette, as if you will recall the ZR-1 engines were actually manufactured and assembled by Mercury Marine. A little over 500 Callaway twin turbo Corvettes were built between 1987-1991 and only 68 Callaway's were built in 1990 to give an example of the limited production of these vehicles. The 1992-96 C-6 Corvettes were non-turbo models named the Super-Naturals and more freely available, but didn't offer the attraction of the twin turbo and the huge horsepower gains. Fact was the LT-1 engine just wouldn't stand the strain of the twin turbos and Callaway decided to go au naturale.
