My 95 corvette engine needs to be replaced but the dealer said they do not make the same kind of engine anymore, can another type engine be put in its place

Be aware that once the original corvette engine is replaced you lose a tremendous amount of resale value. I can't understand ... with all the "aftermarket" corvette parts .. why that engine can't be repaired.
Thank you both, It is the original motor..thought the dealer would be best.
a 350 ci replacement motor is available, short block ,long block or turn key...heres the link... also, like stated above, unless the block is trashed, would be the only time to change it out ...chevroletperformanceparts.com/catalog/chevrolet-performance- engines?gclid=CImL2LDAo8UCFenm7AodUWEAmg
If it is original engine,it is worth a rebuild.
Why does it need replacement, and who told you that? Before spending a lot of money, go to trusted garages or ask other gear heads to direct you to a fair garage for opinions. I replaced my short block after 325,000 miles because I had three major unrepairable cracks in it. I got an empty 350 short block and put my old engine's (new parts) parts in it. saved five grand.
