1991 Subaru Legacy over heating

So I replaced the thermostat cuz car was overheating was
told radiator and water pump have been replaced  still
over heating and my fans are not coming on but when I
bang on the radiator one of the fans will turn for a little bit
then stops  don’t know what to do please help

Radiator might be clogged up. You also might need a new fan. Check for proper voltage there and all associated fuses/relays.

if you can hot wire the fan motor at the dis connect you'll know if it;s any good , check the connection and be careful feeling around there the plastic blades can get razor sharp
