I have put 3 power steering motors on my 2006 cobalt in 6 months ...why with could be the problem

I have put 3 power steering motors on my 2006
cobalt in 6 mo. With could be the problem . it runs
great for a couple weeks or month them it dies.

It's the module for the electronic power steering that's bad, or going bad. And that's not so much of a cheap and easy part to replace as are the electric motors. I Believe it needs to be programmed from dealer. Maybe you just need it reprogrammed? ( Could of lost connection to the electronic power steering motor if battery or alternator died) try disconnecting negative battery cable and replacing fuses labeled EPS.
