Why chevy colt ls want start

I would like to find out why my 2006 chevy colbolt ls want
start bout three months I was driving my colbolt and she
was running fine I stopped and got gas drove home
running fine pulled in my driveway parked cut it off then
ten min later was leaving got in car try to start it an it
wouldn't just made like a whining noise like a stater
maybe no replaced starter twice stil whining so then as
friend check my timing chain and it was off the thing it
was surpose to be on like a bike jumps it's chain but the
black plastic piece was broke into 3 pieces so I replaces
that now that car had been giving me some issues so I
had six recalls done to it and still same thing whining but
wants to so if anyone couple please throw me something
to work thanks sonmuch

Sounds like the new timing chain was installed incorrectly. If you haven't already, you'll damage your engine if you don't get that corrected. Some money spent on an actual mechanic would be money well spent at this point.
Thanks for the response I have not replaced the head gasket I am going to an I will have someone look at the timing chain again
I didn't change it when the timing chain got replaced I am a single mom trying to get my car fixed an get right answers I just need alittle help I was told you are surpose to do the head gasket when replacing the chain
You need to do some diagnostics before spending money on work that might not be needed. A compression test needs to be done. If it is normal leave the gasket alone. You also need to have the car scanned for trouble codes. This will lead you to what's actually wrong and will keep you from spending money needlessly.
Thanks I have had the compressing test and it not normal I had six recalls done on thru burgland and it also sounds like the fuel pump I am about to junk it but it's a beautiful car
You may be wise to look at another car. There comes a point when that is your cheapest option. The 2.2 is often damaged when the timing chain fails. I speak from experience. The good news is there are tons of Cobalts around. If you like yours, there's no reason not to buy another one.
