Why the ac wont turn off when car is running and knob is on 0?

We try to turn ac off while driving and it keeps blowing. Same thing when
parked and running. Knob is put on 0 and it still is on.

sounds like the knob is broken.

I changed my resistor,nope,same thing. Then I changed relay,nope,same thing. Then I replaced switch for 18 bucks online,worked fine till I hit a bump then you guessed it...same thing. I took control panel out with car running and fan shut off, put it back in and it started blowing again. After inspection of switch wires I found one wire rubbing against metal support bracket, tapped it up real good...problem solved. Hope this helps someone.
