My 06 Cobalt has been revving and jerking when I put it in reverse if I have to back up down a driveway. Only does it in a straight line, seems fine if I'm just backing out of a parking space.
any idea why this would happen?

I checked the fuse, the relay, and put in a new sensor. The fan runs all of the time when I unplug the sensor but will not come on when I plug it back in no matter how hot it gets.
