Tail light bolts / screws

Asked by grimley Jun 24, 2014 at 04:54 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The bolts / screws on my tail light assemblies no longer "bite" into their "sockets". Is
there any way to repair this?

If you can, shine a light into the holes ans see if the threads are stripped. If so, see if there are removable fasteners to replace or it is an expensive replacement. Car repair shops may give the best advice as they come across it the most.
