I have water (I have wiped it up and it's clear with no smell) leaking in my front driver side and passenger side. I recently realized it only leaks when I have my AC on

The tube that drains water from your under your condenser is probably clogged. If you can get under your vehicle you should be able to see the tube, ( a small hoes with an open end on it) usually just behind the engine on the wall. Take a thin object(hanger or skewer stick) and put it into the hoes. more than like the water will come out once you have unblocked it. This may or may not happen to all vehicle at some put in their life. Its an inconvenience but as long as you now what to do. then it won't be a headache.

Thanks! There is also a water rushing noise that's been going on long before the flooding.. Do you think that's related to the clog? I hear it coming from the front passenger side when I push on gas from being at a stop..
Yep once you unclog it, all that will come out.
Just had the same problem with the AC hose clog. I had my mechanic unclog it and had to rip back the carpet right back to the metal so that it would dry. My mechanic told me that he also had to do the same for his sister`s 2011 equinox. I guess this is a problem with this model.
Thanks Juan! That worked, May I add that the hose came off as i moved it .It had a stubby wider tube attached I guess to create an angle for less dirt and clogging?Anyway, with a flashlight I was a able to easily re attach it. Doesn't seem to require a clamp or or anything Gio
Where exactly is this hose? Mine is leaking on passenger side when it rains
Where is exactly is this hose
I unclogged it and it still leaks from the inside it is just clear water. I don't know what can be causing this problem. my AC works fine but the water keeps coming in my passenger side floor 2004 Silverado.
Same here 2015 equnox AC is great,no problem there, but recently it leaks water on the pasenger side. Pulled out the glove box and with a mirror and a light it's coming from the blower moter. Any idea on this one . HELP IN TEXAS
The mechanic who changes my oil said oddly enough there is NO hose. They thought maybe the last guy tucked it up and kinked it (they’ve seen this scenario before). No hose. A lot of water on floorboard. It rained - it was dry prior to parking for three days - three rainy days. Help please if anyone has an idea.
If you are wondering where this drain hose is and how to fix it, check out this video. It worked for my 2015 Equinox and only took 2 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZ8M4KN9MIY
Thank you so much this has been a headache since I purchased this vehicle. I'm going to try it, I do believe this is going to fix my problem! No matter what I have to do I'm going to get to the root of the issue.... AC works great, yet I rather not swim in a lake to keep cool LOL hahaha!

Here is my solution, my floor would get sopping wet after rains and snow on the passenger floor. What I did to fix it was a pulled the kick panel off and noticed that water would fill that cavity, so I drilled 3 holes so that the water would drain to the outside of the vehicle. I may have put a plug or something in so the water does not go into the passenger compartment. This completely fixed the problem. No more wet floor and no more condensation on the inside of windows

I've had two and I tell you my 2006 and 2015 both leaked in the front floorboards when it rained hard. I think it's the windshield leaking.Although, I have sat in them both in heavy rain in my driveway and I saw no leak.
My brother said that there is a vent that opens with the heat/air fan. Before I park - now I turn the dial to recycle air and no more water. Problem is that this stupid car opens the vent as a default when u turn the car off - so either seal the vent under the hood, or remember to close the vent by turning the recycle air dial on. That’s my experience with this horrible low water issue y’all. Good darn luck.
