Acts like dead battery

My car acts like it has a dead battery
until I push the clutch harder or just
work the clutch and then it will start .
what could be the problem?

agreed. verify that the plate is depressing the slide. If it is, try unplugging it and jumping the circuit and verifying that it starts. If it starts then you can replace it or if you're inclined, some are really simple, you can take it apart and reset the slides to operate like new. hth

Or you can easily bypass the old switch and start it without clutch actuation; but I wouldn't do this with a shared vehicle nor around kids. Ern TSG/B
