My oil is leaking out of my 06 eqinox, what could it be?

The oil is leaking on the ground right undernesth the part that holds it.almost directly in the middle.

Thank you so much. If you don't mind I have one more question. My heater went out last year. Not sure what hppened but the air conditioner works. Can you tell me what might be wrong?

Sounds like a rear main seal leak. If so it means pulling the transmission to repair.
