My 2004 subaru outback 2.5 engin is overheating I've tried everything to stop it from happening

Asked by DCBoyer Jan 19, 2015 at 11:00 PM about the 2004 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Wagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have done everything I can to fix my over heating problem. I even took the heater core out and I checked the timing belt along with the water pump too. The engine runs great and I don't find any signs of coolant leaking any where! I'm at my wits end figuring out what it could be?

Leak head gasket is very popular on this engine caused overheat, go on Ebay and buy Endoscope for $14 and connect to Laptop, remove all 4 spark plug and look for trace of coolant in combustion Chambers.
