Which Motor Oil Should I Use

Just Purchased This Car Which Has 18,578 Miles On It.

10w-40 would be my choice but in cold weather 5w-30 should be fine. Where did you find such a low mile car?

Synthetic Blend? I Actually Found This Car On E Bay Had One Owner. Obvious Did Not Drive It Much From NY. It Still Has The Original Mats Inside. Good Deal. My Other Subaru Has Head Gasket Issue. 2000 Legacy L Wagon. Which I Also Got On E Bay 3 Years Ago. Had No Major Issues Until Now.

1985-81 DL/GL/Loyales ate the left side t-belts like popcorn. FOR's right on for oil, but it isn't critical, except that I'd avoid 5W above 50F as there are so many leaky seals in these old 1.6 and 1.8L pups.
