always ALWAYS use the highest octane fuel in a subei or it will not only drop power and fuel economy but will also wear the engine out faster in a subie.

False comments. What you need to do is get a code reader, connect it and start the engine, drive car with code reader in flight mode, this will detect what trouble exists when check engine light comes on, or request a mechanic to perform this test.
