My 2001 subaru outback will not start and the clock on the dash board is gone! does not make a sound when I try to start it. could it be electrical??

Check the veltage on the car batery it could be dead, try chargung the batery or a jump lead start and is that brings it back to life then you know you'll have to replace the batery or check the alternator for charging
