check engine light won't reset

How can I reset my check engine light i tried to reset it with a code scanner but no luck I than unhooked the battery over night and still no luck the code I was getting was p0328 I replaced the knock sensor before I tried to reset it

Always found that a new Subie (or generic Nissan) sensor cures the code; check wiring as suggested above. Even if inoperative the Subie 2.5i will not tend to ping, so don't sweat it.
thanks we had a lot of snow here yesterday and when it clears up I will check out the wiring . After replacing the old sensor with a new one i checked out the sensor I took out and using my multimeter it looked good . so are you refering the wiring on the sensor or the wiring that is coming in from the engine harness ????

The latter. We had our first whiting (not including the election) of 1/4" last night.
