My 2001 Subaru Outback has an air leak on the driver's side window near the speaker installation. My 1992 Subaru had the same problem. Repair would be $400.

I have had that problem with my 2002 limited too, where would you get it fixed?

I had that too - after poking around on the Outback forum, there's a fairly easy fix for it, at least on the short term. Open the driver's side door and roll the window down, and take a look at the triangular rubber sail at the front, where the speaker attaches. I fixed mine by squeezing together the two halves of that sail (since it's supposed to seal that gap). I think what happens is, since there's no window frame, the vibration of the window eventually opens up little tiny gaps in that sail that you can squeeze back together with your fingers. It's not a permanent fix, but I tried it back in September and I haven't heard the wind noise come back yet. And I just drove almost 3200 miles in the past few weeks on the highway doing, ah, 'highway speeds.' ;)

Any chance you could add a photo to show what you did exactly? My 2001 Subaru Legacy has the same problem on both sides.
