2002 outback limited leaky oil gasget

i would like an overview of the labor and/or specs on difficulty vis-a-vis engaging in d.i.y.
repair of this wear-and-tear issue.

are you talking about the Oil pan gasket, if so you have to jack the engine up a little bit to get at the bolts on the back of the pan ( toward the rear of the car)check out the video https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search? p=changing+the+oil+pan+gasket+on+a++2002+Outback&ei=UTF- 8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001
