Broken rear suspension 02 outback

One of the rear struts springs must have broken. Would need to replace the rear struts.
If you are replacing the back struts, you might as well do the entire car... More stability and, the percentages of the front failing at this point in time is pretty certain... There's nothing like knowing you did this BEFORE another failure.
I would inspect for rust in case your problems stem from corrosion.
F_O_R,. EXCELLENT idea. Besides, the car is 15 years old... C'mon, it's not bad for struts... They don't last forever..
Local repair shop would not do just rear struts said front units will probably no last much longer. recommended replacing all 4 struts, quoted price $2,800. I bought this vehicle 5 months ago for $2,750 Guess it's going to the junk yard.
Shop around, $2,800 for struts is really high.
