Possibly water pump has failed or your thermostat is not opening
check oil to make sure no antifreeze in oil due to head gasket leak. could be leaking only when coolant is pressurized and this comes off as a kind of vapor you cant see; high pressure leak could be in water pump or radiator cap. make sure coolant recovery tank is not cracked or leaking. make sure hoses are clamped with proper tightness. With engine off, take off radiator cap and pressurize the system with a radiator system tester which is a kind of pressure pump; check for pinhole leaks in hoses; if pressure drops there is a leak somewhere; check heater core to make sure it is not leaking. pressure test radiator cap with the tester.
My coolant keep going up and down what this means
