You may need an interface for the after market stereo , everything is linked to the computer , See a pro stereo shop and bring your wallet , the days of red wire black wire are over

By replacing the original stereo the security system thinks it was stolen and shut down the vehicle. What you should have done was left the original stereo hooked up, pushed it behind the dash, then hooked up your new stereo. Unfortunately you now need to be towed to your local Chevrolet Dealer for them to reprogram the security system. Hope that helps! Jim

The ignition secondly is coded to both computer and BCM you cannot manually code these yourself UNLESS you have a tech2 interface tool w candi module. To correct the issue if you ever what it to run again is take it to the dealer. Or buy a wrecked one swap out ignition, skim reader, computer, and BCM along w radio. That's the only way I found around this issue.
