When I purchased my Impala,
rode beautifully until one day
Transmission goes out. So it
gets replaced. A year later the
Transmission slips, barely
moves and has burnt oil. But
ways checked oil.

Maybe you need a better transmission cooler. I would upgrade the stock one when you install a new transmission.
