Hopefully you don't need to remove the entire light assembly you should be able to remove the bulb from the back side access via the trunk from there it should be simple as pie you pull the old bulb out maybe a Twist and Turn and insert the new one ready to rock and roll make sure you have someone to check to see if the new bulb is working
Hi. Open your trunk. Behind the tail light area you will find some things that look like plastic hooks there should be three. Unscrew then and the will allow you to take the plastic cover off. Under that you will find your lightbulbs. 1/3 turn counter clockwise and pull the socket out. After you pull the bulb out and replace it with the new one, make sure you take a tissue and wipe the bulb off. finger prints can sometimes cause a hot spot on the bulb. They say that this could cause an early failure of the new bulb. then just reverse the process and your done. Good Luck and I hope this helped!
