Asked by GuruZXX9 Mar 24, 2017 at 10:01 AM about the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car will not start unless you jump it
.it runs for a while and than stop and will not
start again without a jump. Put new
starter,tested alternator change battery
cable end and nothing seem to help

Sounds like the alternator is not working. Your just running off of the battery until it drains down. You'll need the battery charged back up and tested to see if it any good, and the alternator checked.
