06 Trailblazer driver door module replaced but won't work

Asked by Dana Jun 30, 2020 at 07:05 AM about the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My driver's door module quit (typical 06 TB issue). I
ordered a replacement. Didn't work. I changed the 125amp
accessory fuse, removed the negative battery connection
for about an hr...still didn't work. So I swapped the
passenger side controls to be sure it wasn't something
else and everything works
So I returned the module and ordered a different one. It
doesn't work. What am I missing? Please help, I'm beyond
frustrated.

New master switches must be programmed by dealer. Used ones are plug and play. Probably solves your problem.

Both of the replacement modules I ordered are used. That's why I'm so stuck

Check fuses #1 and #10 under the back seat.
