My 2006 chevy trailblazer has a shimmy in the
steering wheel back and fourth

Check your tire pressure make sure they're at the right PSI how old are the tires on there you could have a bulge or an inverted tire and not really notice it you might need new tires last but not least it could be the tie rod I would start with the tires first

Alignment, tires, rotors (if happens when braking), tie rods. Check tie rods first, that can be a dangerous one if not taken care of quickly.
